In My Mailbox #1

To celebrate National Library Week (April 11-17), I've decided to begin my first "In My Mailbox" post.  For those who are unfamiliar with an In My Mailbox post, check out The Story Siren.  Since I read far more books than I can afford to buy, my books come from today's trip to my local library.

Boys, Girls & Other Hazardous Materials by Rosalind Wiseman
The Everafter by Amy Huntley
Sing Me to Sleep by Angela Morrison
The Unwritten Rule by Elizabeth Scott

So many choices!  Have you read any of these?  What did you think?  Any suggestions about which one I should read first?

If you want to cry, or feel like you might cry, start with Sing Me to Sleep.

The Unwritten Rule was a quick read, a sweet romance, lots of high school girl drama.

The Everafter is really good, a little different. I wasn't able to guess the ending before I read it, so that was nice.

Boys, Girls...wasn't nearly as fluffy as I had anticipated. It had more depth the further in you read. Isn't it a bummer you have to read them one at a time? I have a huge stack of library books out and I have to figure out which one to read next. I just read The Mark by Jen Nadol. It was okay. Not great, but a quick read.

I haven't read any of them, but I'd go with "The Everafter" just because it has such a great cover. I'll also be awaiting reviews. :)

oooh, I want to read all of those! But I heard the Unwritten Rule is so good. I've heard good things about all of them really, that was just the most recent one.

Oooo they all sound really good!! I think I would go with the Unwritten Rule or the Ever After first only because they look the most intriguing that's just me though! Good luck with your fun choices!!

Ahh, oh no! More books to add to my gigantic to read pile. Hopefully you'll let us know what you think of them, so maybe I can take the not so good ones off my list.

Sing me to sleep and Unwritten Rule are jumping out at me. From the titles, of course. And, the cover for Unwritten just begs you to take a peak inside.

Good to see such quality literature for adolescents to keep them reading.
